Washington Irving penned The Legend of Sleepy Hollow in 1819, a tale that has endured for centuries, inspiring countless adaptations in movies, television, coloring books, and cartoons. Even Disney has created its own version.
On October 3rd, this iconic story will come to life with this unique re-enactment. Visitors will interact face to face with the beloved characters of Katrina Van Tassel, Brom Bones, and Ichabod Crane. But beware! As you stroll through dimly lit streets of Chester with the crisp fall breeze and the scent of autumn in the air, keep your eyes peeled—you will be sure to catch a glimpse of the Headless Horseman... Or could it be one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse whose names are Apocalypse, War, Famine and the star of night's encounter....Death!
This walking storybook adventure promises to be a one-of-a-kind Halloween experience. Combining legend, theology, and theatre, it’s sure to be the highlight of your fall season.

Tours depart every 15 minutes from 6:00 PM to 8:30PM. To save time, purchase your time slot in advance and skip the line!
PLEASE NOTE: The early time slots 6-6:45 will be family friendly and appriprate for all ages while the later time slots will become a darker version of the adventure.
